Breakthrough Your Invisible Fence Retreat

I attended the “ Break Through Your Invisible Fence” retreat in October 2010. I wasn’ t sure what to expect, but I went in there knowing that I needed a personal breakthrough. I needed to create a change in my life. I was ready to try something new, so I went in with an open mind and a few butterflies in my stomach. Though I worried about the usual things a woman does before any gathering; my hair, my shoes, the size of my butt. Would I fit in? Did I belong here?

What I found, was complete acceptance by total strangers, who by the end of the retreat, were like sisters to me. What my personal breakthrough required was a healthy dose of introspection as to why there was a barrier in the first place, and how it got there. Imagine my surprise when I realized that the barrier itself was never strong enough to hold me back; I’ d simply gotten used to the limitations I perceived as being permanent. Past events in my life had such significance that they were overshadowing my vision of the future.

It was an emotional process but a healing one. I learned how to “ let go” and “ let grow.” The best way I can describe the indescribable, is this: Not only do you sow what you reap, you need to quit blocking the sun once you plant!

Carolyn’s location is always evident as she proves to be a moving force of positive energy, emitting benevolence and radiance along the length of her various paths in life. I am not suggesting that she is not human; she reiterates her own need and quest for continual forgiveness and understanding. The trust instilled by her faith and the strength she receives from it allows her to voluntarily express doubts, fears and worries. Carolyn enlightens you with the fact that her God has always demonstrated reliability and dependability to see her through any situation as well as allowing her to not only exist, but to be placed in a position to help others. Carolyn completely comprehends the responsibility she possesses and charitably bestows, in various forms, riches given to her without any consideration regarding where her next blessing may be emerging from. She once advised that there is an art to giving but also an art to receiving. I had never contemplated this theory before and immediately realized I lacked ability in the latter. I concluded the following from her statement: The “giver” gets from giving, so sometimes, we have to be good “receivers” in order to let the giver really “give” and yet “get” something from their giving. So, like she said, there is an art to being a gracious receiver, just as there is an art to being a gracious giver. Needless to say, I am attempting to be better at “receiving” these days, per her guidance.

Anyone who has been in contact with Carolyn recognizes that she focuses an immense amount of energy upon other people; helping them, encouraging them, counseling them, just plain loving and listening to them. She is fully devoted to her children and her siblings, in addition to her New Age family. After talking to her employees, the multiple reasons of why they continue their loyalty to the company and her becomes apparent. Many of her customers, who can’t help but befriend her (my husband included, who introduced me as well) feel like family and consider her family as well. If she needed us in the middle of the night, without question, we’d be there for her and vice versa - that is what “family” no judgments involved, only full acceptance. One is loved for who they are and appreciated for this very reason, no matter where you are in life.

In conjunction to what I have stated prior, I would like to add the following regarding Carolyn in summary: she is an amazing, professional, entrepreneurial, highly successful woman in the marketplace who achieves and perfects “balance” in all areas of life. I constantly marvel at how she accomplishes this each day and am astonished by the copious amount of lives she touches - whether it be her children, siblings, friends, employees, customers, Expect a Miracle families, etc. (I could continue on for days). I strive to discover and tailor the right balance in life for myself. This is not an easy task with all the demands being made each day, from all areas of a working mom’s life. Yet, I am given hope by the sense of peace Carolyn displays - it makes me believe that as long as I am at peace within, all else will fall into place.
